For a lovely stroll along the canal, Loxwood is a great choice. There is plenty of parking at the Loxwood Canal Centre, postcode: RH14 0RD, near the Onslow Arms. What3words location – ///twinge.hydrant.unguarded
The car park is right next to the canal so it makes it very easy to get straight onto the Wey South Path and you can walk either left or right down the canal and there is a helpful information board so you can see how far you want to walk.
We walked left down the canal from the Canal Centre and it was very pleasant being a nice sunny day and also flat so not too strenuous! The path can be a little muddy in places, so make sure you wear suitable shoes! When we had walked enough down the canal we retraced our steps back to the car park. The canal is ideal if you want somewhere to exercise your dog or are looking for a flat walk that isn’t too difficult!
