Benbow Pond Loop, near Midhurst
Distance – 8.33km – 5.2 miles Height Gained: 150m Difficulty – Easy
Here is a lovely short walk that has some fantastic views of beautiful West Sussex countryside.
Parking: Park at Benbow Pond, just off the A272 about 2 miles east of Midhurst, 1 mile east of Easebourne.
We did it clockwise, crossing the golf course first but either way would be fine. The views from the northern most sections of the walk back to the South Downs are amazing. Benbow Pond is also delightful – whilst there we saw four lovely black swans, a heron, plenty of ducks and geese.
