Hassocks and Ditchling Loop

Parking: Hassocks, on-street parking, or you can get the train to Hassocks to save the hassle!
It is an ideal walk from London as you can get trains to Hassocks easily from Clapham Junction and from London Bridge in around an hour! It is around 3.5 hours long – a perfect day trip from London!

The walk starts from Hassocks station, so a great walk if you are visiting from London and takes around 3.5 hours (but you can make this longer with a lunch or drink in Ditchling or bring a packed lunch and sit up near Jack and Jill Windmills)
This was a truly lovely walk on such a sunny day. It incorporates the South Downs Way, stunning views at Ditchling, the Jack and Jill Windmills, and the picturesque village of Ditchling. We enjoyed the community orchard at Ditchling, where we ate our lunch, and enjoyed the multiple windmills en route!
