This walk starts at the Coach and Horses Pub in Chelwood Common, which has a lovely garden. Chelwood Common is a small village near Danehill in East Sussex – near Sheffield Park and with Haywards Heath to the South West. It is a fairly gentle walk, however, there is a muddy field halfway around through a field of horses, and also requires a short stretch of road walking.
It is a very varied walk in terms of terrain, with a mix of woodland, fields, and also down pleasant quiet lanes around Chelwood Common.
