Petworth Park and House
Petworth Park is a lovely place to enjoy a walk, enjoy a picnic and visit Petworth House and the Pleasure Gardens. The perimeter of the deer park is 14 miles so there’s plenty of room to exercise and enjoy the deer (from a distance!). You can visit both the deer park and Pleasure Gardens all year round and enjoy the stunning scenery and enjoy refreshments in the cafe. You can also walk from the Deer Park into the centre of Petworth itself, where you can find many cafes or the supermarket for refreshments!
Dogs are allowed in the park under close control (please don’t allow them to chase the deer). The park is open 8am to 6pm, but please check the website for the current opening times, parking information etc.
